Apperian provided Clinique with this unique guided self-service app for the Apple iPad, and using Apperian's EASE (Enterprise App Service Environment) SDK, enabled Clinique to create a secure app which can be deployed worldwide and managed from a single dashboard. EASE can also deliver mobile training to counter staff during off hours. Initial results have shown a significant increase in sales for the first stores where the app is available.


At Clinique counters consumers identify their skin care concerns and receive personalized recommendations using a 90-second computer-guided skin care analysis. The diagnostic tool processes over 180,000 product combinations that precisely match each consumer's personal needs. At the end of the intuitive analysis, consumers receive a printout or email with a list of their custom-fit product recommendations.
